At Great Harvest, we are committed to making exceptional bread. We are a bread company first, and above all, we do bread right. That means we use simple, honest ingredients and the best baking methods rather than the fastest or cheapest way. It takes longer, but we’ve found there are no shortcuts to making exceptional bread, and that’s what we are here to do. Our approach to bread making and business has always been to do things the right way, and as our menu has grown, that philosophy extends to our other products as well.

When you order a sandwich at your neighborhood bakery cafe, you get fresh, real food, made by a real person who is happy to make it for you. The outside of your sandwich will be as good as the inside. It will be served on bread that is not just fresh baked, but also freshly made from fresh ground flour — instead of frozen, mass-produced dough.

  • I am a first year Jr High teacher and decided last minute to treat my classes with some homemade bread and honey during our bee unit. Joe and Caden made it happen with 100+ slices of bread the next day and they even threw in a few extra loaves for our faculty. The bread was delicious and the students loved having a healthy treat.   • I’ve been coming here for years. In fact, I used to go here when they were down the street many years ago. I’ve picked up the donations they regularly give for the daycare down the street and the Midvale Road Home. They are so pleasant and Stacy (sp?) who makes the amazing sandwiches! Also, Angela is pleasant when I’ve called in the morning to see if there are donations to pick up.

  • We are regular customers here and can't say enough good about their beautiful, delicious home-baked goods. We come in twice a week for their lo-carb bread, which is the BEST lo-carb bread ever. We love their sweet breads, cookies, bars, salads, sandwiches. All GOOD! We most recently bought a lot of sandwiches for my daughter's farewell luncheon from Great Harvest. Jason and Natalie were amazing to work with and prepared everything for a late Saturday pickup (they're closed Sunday.) They thoughtfully wrapped everything in tissue, labelled all the sandwiches, then saran-wrapped the container boxes to keep everything fresh in my fridge until the next day. They provided tomatoes and other "wet" dressing type condiments on the side so the sandwiches wouldn't get soggy. I was a little worried about how they would all keep overnight, but everything was *perfect* the next day. The cheese wasn't soggy, the bread wasn't dry, and the lettuce wasn't wilted. We just had people add their own spreads and tomatoes, mustard, mayo, etc. The sandwiches were a hit with young and old alike. They even threw in a few extra goodies for our party, which was such a nice, above and beyond addition. I would definitely recommend using Great Harvest for catering events and would not hesitate to use them again in the future for big family meals. Thank you to Jason and Natalie and the Great Harvest team!!
